Hi, I’m K. Moon
I make songs the way some people keep journals. Each track starts with a feeling — a flash of a memory, a line that won’t leave me alone, a rhythm that sounds like a heartbeat — and I follow it until it becomes a world you can step into.
The name “Moon” felt right because I’m drawn to the in-between: the quiet hours, the soft light on messy emotions, the phases we move through. My music lives there — close, luminous, a little reflective.
What My Music Feels Like
Some songs are all glow and motion — windows down, night air, city lights blurring. Others are the opposite: bare vocals, a single line on piano, space to breathe. I love contrast: synthetic and organic, glossy and grainy, intimate and widescreen.
- Core threads: melody first, texture second, emotion always
- Obsessions: layered pads, subtle bass movement, drum details you only notice on repeat
How I Work
I start with voice notes — hummed hooks, a phrase I scribbled, a beat I tapped on the desk. In the studio I build from that spark: chords that feel like the moment, drums that breathe, colors that match the lyric. I produce until the song stands up on its own and asks to be played again.
- Writing & Production: I handle both, end to end
- Collab energy: open to co-writes, remixes, custom pieces for visual stories
Why I’m Here
I make music to connect — with myself, with you, with the parts of life we usually rush past. If a song of mine sits with you on a long drive, or gets you through a hard week, or just makes you feel seen for three minutes — that’s it, that’s the point.
